Memphis defeats East Carolina

The Memphis Tigers successfully defeated the East Carolina Pirates by the score of 70-59. Chris Crawford was the leading scorer tonight with 16 points. Right behind him was Will Barton with 15 points and Wesley Witherspoon added 12 points along with 11 rebounds. The Tigers have improved their conference record to 7-2 with a 17-7 overall record. The Pirates fall to 3-7 in conference play and now are 12-11 overall. The Tigers look to keep winning in C-USA with a win over UAB this upcoming Saturday night at the FedEx Forum.
