UTEP ends Memphis five game win streak

The UTEP Miners ended the Tigers five game win streak with a victory at the FedEx Forum by the final score of 60-58. Michael Perez scored 15 points and Jacques Streeter added 14 as UTEP used a second-half rally to defeat Memphis on Saturday afternoon. Tarik Black was Memphis primetime player, finishing the game with 26 points and 10 rebounds. UTEP extends their winning streak to three and are now .500 (6-6) in the C-USA with a 13-13 overall record. The Tigers fall to 9-3 in C-USA play with a 19-8 overall record.
